after a little bit if softens up to be just right - hard to quantify how hard a tip is its more about how they play.

ive tried to re-stick tips before and can never seem to get them spot on always slightly out , so rather ruin the tip all together i will use it on my pool cue when it arrives ??
p.s the wooldridge is all ready to go !!

Trigger... like andrew said... use his tip guide or the one created by Mike Wooldridge... both excellent!!

If you need to play very quickly use Loctite Gel Control... give you a little time to move the tip if you need to... BUT... if you can leave it overnight use Araldite Epoxy... you have all the time you need to get it right with that stuff.. then clamp it and leave it overnight... it will never fall off with that stuff as long as you get the surfaces flat and clean!!

i agree with you totally ....but to be honest ive used both these methods before and because i like the tip completely flush with the ferrule i cant seem to get it 100% spot on !!!
then its just a matter of time before i have a bad session and blame the tip which then i will probably do a ronnie at the end of the match and bite it off
(i know its in my head but its still in there..!!...lol)
so its best for me to wait and use it for my pool cue as i will be able to get it perfect thx luke

                        ADR:

Sorry about that. I have a run of tournaments starting last week and running until December 12/13, but I will put it on after that and give you a feedback report.

Right now I have a very good Talisman on and it seems to be working (or at least something is working as I'm getting the odd ton here and there)

                        Cheers,
                        Terry

I have not received mine yet, but I will definitely put one on and try it out and post my feedback when I do. I am working on a batch of cues and am almost done.
If I like them I will buy some from you.
                          Thank you.
