i have been using like woolridge super tips for alomost a year now ( does it get any better than a mw super tip? ),im more than happy with them,i dont think i want to change.
Just to add to comments above i too ordered some recently, usually i use buffalo layered tips which are spot on,but 5 quid a tip roughly,so thought id try these pro granite tips, and i must say they hit just perfect for me,not to soft not too hard,so far played snooker and pool with them and good so far :-)
I have recently replaced my Talisman hard tip with a jonny8ball tip from ebay and i must say i prefer the sound, feel and control i get with the new tip compared to the talisman hard i was using.
Not played for 3 years and itching for a game....11-3-2017.
I changed my Elk for a GBL today and I must say I am very impressed. The sound it makes when you hit the cue ball takes a little getting used to (much higher pitched) but the tip plays great even though it seemed like a pebble when I was fitting it
Unfortunately it came flying off during the second frame, but until then it was great! I hate superglue... Back on now and I really do like it. Holds chalk well, good grip on the ball, thumbs up from me!
Thanks FredKite for the tip!

Alright fella, calm down...I was'nt disputing that fact..
I was just saying where he could buy them from with a card, just cos adr is away don't mean he cant order from him does it....
I wasn't trying to argue, I was just suggesting if anyone wants some tips now they might be better off ordering from Stu directly.
Tell Stu your from TSF and see if he gives you a discount

ive used at least half a dozen of these tips, on two different cues, trust me that ping goes away after a good number of frames use. obviously its a different sound as different make up, but if it doesnt go away, yer get used to it.
I'd echo all the positives already mentioned, been very impressed with mine. While it's certainly firm it's not ridiculously so and I feel very comfortable with it.
One thing I did notice was better striking from off the cush but that could just be me.
I recently bought a cue from Stu and mentioned the tip when ordering - he fitted one and included a box for free. Pretty tidy imo.
Cue is great but that's for another thread with a few more hours under my belt.
Got mine delivered a couple of weeks back but only had a chance to play yesterday, so I changed my current tip to this. I have to say it plays well straight away and it has a great hit when striking off the cushion.
As anyone else who had tried this tip has found out, it holds the chalk very well and generates good amount of spin with little effort. Overall, for me, the tip neither feels too hard or soft when playing and just has a very good 'feel' when striking the cueball...and that is all I really ask for in a tip.
