            • Good evening ADR,
You sent me a tip and this is what i think:
Personally it doesn't suit my game like an elkmaster does.
They are very hard and take a long time to bed in.
However when bedded in nicely they are great for applying spin and controlling shot power, also they are great at holding the chalk.
              Thanks for the tip,
              Andy

You should try a supertip. They feel like a bedded in Elk, and are perfect everytime. Best tips on the market for me. Got mine from ADR few weeks back.

                • Had my first session with the pro granite tips last night, previous best 43 got 62 in the last frame of 4. So much easier to control the white, took maybe 2 frames to adjust definitely recommended.

so far the feedback on them has been superb and i have now sold (not given) them to several top professionals.

                    • Andrew:

I have to thank you for sending me the Granite Pro Tips. I finally got one installed on my main cue (1-piece Aurora by poolqjunkie) and I've been using it for about a month now.

I found the tip to play beautifully and for some reason after using it for awhile I felt more confident in the balls as it seems to grip the cueball much better than a Talisman or an Elk Master. I found there was no break-in period as with an Elk Master or Talisman S.

I prefer a hard tip anyway and these Granite tips suit me down to the ground and as soon as my supply runs out I will be ordering more for sure.

                      Thanks,
                      Terry

                        • Actually, I normally tap my new tips with a hammer for a little while and I found I could play well with the Granite right away but with the Talisman it was taking a couple of frames.

Admittedly, it could well have been me. As an example, I was using the line-up to test the Granite and managed 2 clearances in a row with no problems at all and using all the stuff I could and selecting difficult reds to get on with position but the Granite was definitely better for me than the Talisman Soft I had on. (I haven't tried the Talisman Hard as yet but I do have some here)

                          • sounds like these granite tips are good, have a talisman on my cue at the mo, will have to give the granite a try next.
can the granite tips be fitted on the conventional way of turning the cue around and shaving of the excess? its just that they seem very hard.
