Many thanks for the free tip ADR, just got round to trying it. A nice gesture which deserves an honest review.
I don't quite understand the comments referring to this a a soft tip. I usually use pro granites or Talisman softs, and my tip was comparable to a pro granite IMO.
Played well and held chalk okay, it was easy to fit and shape.
Only downside for me was the sound it made - a bit tinny for me.
Overall, good tip, but I'll be sticking to the PGs (from ADR of course!).Oh, and that's a bad miss.

Mine is very soft indeed, and whereas i do kind of like it, i think i will probably go back to a MW pressed supertip, mainly because that is what i have become used to since taking up the game again.

Maybe I got some superglue in it???Oh, and that's a bad miss.

Many thanks for the tip Andrew
mine were nowhere near as hard as a
pro granite
I found the tip was easy to fit as other
posters have said
but in contrast I found the tip really good
at first I played the tip in before shaping
and taking a bit off then had a decent
session with it
as I said before the tip played well at first
but after about 15 mins play, unlike most
others who have posted I found the tip to have
gone a bit shiny and any screw shots from
distance had me jumping the White
it still had a pretty good feel to it so out came
my tip file and roughed it up all good
another few minutes play and back to being shiny
and I didn't seem able to get chalk to stay on well
enough for me to have any real confidence whilst
playing with bottom from a distance
as the previous poster said as Andrew was good
enough to send the tips out so they deserve an
honest review
I think I'm in the minority about the chalk retension
and around the balls they played really well
sorry for rambling on
thanks again

Have you tried using Le Page Epoxy, which is what I use and I highly recommend it to anyone with any tip. It sets in about 20 minutes, and then cures in about 8 hours or so but you can use it after about 1 hour or even 30 minutes. The excess can be wipe off easily before the epoxy dries up, give you a rubbery layer between the tip and the ferrule, rather than the brittle crystal layer when using super glue.
Hope this helps.
