Hey Jonny take a look at how many cases of this type that the seller has sold...(86). That should speak for itself and also answer your question.

      hope this helps.

so far, you had to buy 85 replacements for the broken ones? hmm. not VERY durable then...

Good little case actually for the money. I got one for a friend of mine and it does the job perfectly. You can't go wrong really. Here is a pic of the inside of one. As you can see you can easily fit 2 cues in as well, or just extensions.

wow, it does look reall nice. they dont sell those in hong kong. somehow we need retailers selling them here seriously. im not that keen to pay 70gbp just for 1 case...
perhaps brother4 can start selling those, rather than the PVC made in china ones. i find those cases tasteless and lack class + elegance.

              thanks everyone!!

totlxtc1978, is it a single or a double cue case? it looks like it can barely fit both mini butt and long extentions.
even if you can, im under the impression that you seem to have to jam it down a bit to fit, and would somehow put dents on/damage the cue... wouldnt it??

I managed to fit 2 cues in there fine, and so has my friend. Ask ADR, he is the seller and will tell you the same

                      lol

sorry adr147, i know you are a busy person was scared to bother you

                      heres my situation.
i need a case, light and "fashionable" i carry it around a lot too.

this is the perfect. i have every intention to use it for a very long time. i've had a bad experience with cases, ie catches and hinges not as springy was they used to (one of the screws fell out) or case doesnt close properly to begin with, leaving one end taller than the other end.....

                      1. this wont happen with this cue right?

also, a friend of mine uses it, and i gave it a bit of a try, and felt that the padding doesnt cover the cue at all (maybe my frd got himself a bad one too). i placed just a 1 piece cue inside it. and the 1 pc cue just kept rattling inside the case. i mean i dont get security that you will get from aluminum cases, where the padding actually wraps around the cue and theres little movement.

                      2. does it usually happen with this model?

the frd i mentioned uses a 1pc john parris, with mini butt, mini extension, and long extension. he could barely fit just the mini butt, and nothing else.

                      3. are you sure it fits long extensions?

sorry for the long response. just trying to get my enquirires answered.
                      much appreciated.

like everything you get exactly what you pay for this is a great case for the price if you want one that has better hinges etc etc you need to spend about £200-£250.

                              Johnny,
I think you need to remember these cases are most likely good for someone who does not carry his cue and take the public transit everyday. There are many different types of hinges and quality among these cases that are made overseas, some are better and more expensive than others.
For the price you simply cannot beat what you get in my opinion, but you also cannot expect to get the best case or most durable or well made case money can buy for this price.
I think you will find that this case is very similiar to the PVC cases you mentioned in many ways, excpet that it may be a bit tighter.
Some of these Chiense made cases are really not bad to be honest. The case Mark Selby carries around is made in China.
It never hurts to try out one at this price--you can always use it as a storage case if you do not really like it.
