Aluminum 3/4 cue case

Hi all,

Does anyone know where I could get a good deal on a "good" Aluminium case for a 3/4 split cue? My current "attache" one is just falling to pieces!

From what I've read on these boards, the Cue Craft ones appear to be the most recommended (which I'm leaning towards), but the cheapest I'm currently finding one is approx. £50 + P&P from Craftsman.

I've also been looking at the Peradon 3/4 Split Silver Flash Case, which I could pickup from TopCue for £44. Mainly because I prefer the style (black finish), but it hasn't got a chalk compartment AFAIK, which I would prefer.

At the end of the day, I would like a case that stops the cue from sliding about and getting damaged. To save on postage, I'd happily pick it up if I can find a supplier in the Hampshire area (I live in Southampton).

Cue craft is widely thought to be the best cases and well worth the money. However if you can.t stretch to that craftsman sell an aluminium case for 35. Not sure about the chalk compartment though

I've ordered a Cue Craft case from Craftsman.
Bit more expensive, but I'm hoping it will live longer than the cheaper one would.

I personally own 2 cue craft cases and I found the foam inside is too thick.

I always think that when you close the case with your cue inside the pressure will bend your cue.

anyone has the same feeling?

Yes the foam is very thick, but the force won't be enough to bend your cue.

The way I see it is the cue has no chance of rolling around in there, so I prefer a tight fit.
