    Found this: http://www.gorillatough.com/glues/superglue/index.aspx

Have to say it's awesome! I just put a small drop on the cue, placed the Talisman soft tip on and only had about 1 second of moving time to get the tip centered. Although the glue was super fast acting, it held for the cutting and shaping I did less than 10 minutes later!!!

Glue also wasn't so hard it couldn't be taken off the ferrule (brass).
You said that you put a small drop on the cue. Do you smear it around to make sure the whole area is covered?
The bitter taste of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

If it is gel glue, then no need to smear it around. If you do it straight away, the tip will spread it for you .... just press the tip gently into position, then give it a good firm press and the glue will do the rest.

Yes I did. Used the tip of the glue bottle itself. Found there was enough glue just in the air bubble that appeared when I opened the bottle. Superglues are highly viscous and it doesn't take much to cover 9.5mm

Hrm, may consider doing that. I typically just spread around with a toothpick or match stick.

I just use any superglue thats about iv used expensive and cheap and found no difference, i think it all in the preperation of tip and cue ,the only thing i do that might be unusual is i damp the tip using my finger only slightly,

ive used it a few times now and carnt find anything better, i saw it in a pharmacy its the glue used for false nails you can get two versions the regular one or the gel one only ever used the gel as it dries slower than the regular one so i can get the tip central its really good never had no problems and it only cost me about 50 pence

Evostick impact does a great job but it has to be left overnight. I have used gorilla superglue recently and it is very good.

Was it the super glue one or the one in large bottle, both are different.
