advice on cue oil

sorry i am new at all this!
can anyone give me some advice on cue oil please?
i have been looking at the Mike Wooldridge cue oil - is this one the best? it seems costly for a very small amount of oil - is it worth it? and does it last very long?
if not - which one is the best?

Never tried Mike's oil, but I guess its very good. Anyway, a raw linseed oil will do a great job.

don't think Mike would sell anything but quality goods,if you only have one cue,you would have plenty of oil for a long time.

You should find RAW Linseed Oil in any good hardware store, or off the internet.

this sort of thing is more about what you do with it than the oil. if you don't know how to thin it etc then mikes oil is not a bad idea.

i purchased MW oil from ADR, no messing about just use as discribed on the label and your good to go, extreemly fast delivery to :-)

it's the right amount for the end user and will last ages.

as i say on my website, you can use any oil: http://www.handmadecues.com/extras/30-cueoil.htm

but i know what i prefer. and trust me, i've tried them all.

also, for clarification, you cannot buy the same product off the shelf from anywhere in the world. it is my own mixture of selected oils and made in my workshop.

I've used Mike's cue oil on my TW and Will Hunt cues. I'm no expert, but it just seems like the right stuff to use(smells heavenly also but don't inhale too deeply).
