I just got some of these tips from ADR147 on ebay for my snooker cue but wouldn't mind trying one on my pool cue, it has an 8.5mm tip, what is the best way to get them to the right size? trim with a craft knife?

Make sure the knife is sharp . I use a surgical scapel . Very sharp .
