    Hi everybody,

I'm the german guy which build the LED Lamp shown in the ledstyles Forum.

    I had use

    32 Cree XR-E 7090 Q5 LEDs white
Carclo 20mm 10202 optic with 35.6 angle in frosted white
I use 6 Power Supplies with 700mA output at about 3.5 Volt.
So you will have about native 2.4 Watt per LED. That are less than 80 Watt total!

The lamp was build in January 2009. In Germany i paid

€ 420 for LEDs, Optics, Holder, Cooler, Power Supply, Clue
about € 100 for Wood, Holder, Chain, Cable etc.

The colour of the balls are clear.

What I told about the shadows is, that ther are only a shadow under the Ball. But depending on the many LEDs the Shadow is more than 1. On the other side there are "light" shadows.

To the lightning on the side of the table, I said in the german forum that at the pockets (1.5 inch away) there are some lux missing (for german lighting rules). It can be fit with 2-3 additional LEDs and a different optic (Carclo 10203 for ex.) on each Side of the Lamp.

If you need more Information you can send me an message, because i don't know how offen i wil be online.

    Cheers
    Uwe

Oh.. I'm Sorry... one mistake in my Post... the power supply gives 15-36 Volts output (depending on the number of LEDs connected) and constant 700mA. Means, that are 3.5 Volt for each LED.

      Cheers
      Uwe
