Fibreglass cue case

Some time back I recall seeing some fibreglass cue cases on ebay.
There were all sorts of colours and designs, with squiggles of paint over them etc.
Firstly, does anyone know if these cases are still about? And if they are, are they any good?
I believe they are meant to be very good for airline travel??

I have been trying to decide whether to go for a fibre glass one piece case or the leather version. Am unsure which is the best. Which is lightest/most hardwearing?
