    The tip you fitted on my cue is great. It took a little time to get used to, but I really like it allot.

    • I have to say I never cut my tips down to the same size of my ferrule, and instead have a slight overhang.

      When I put a tip on, I hold the cue on my shoulder, to check that it is even all the way around. It just seems easier to sight it for me using this method, before I press it firmly. Obviously you can't dilly dally though.

      I also buff the sides of my tip completely, and chalk all the way to the ferrule. There's nothing more likely to make you miscue than a tip like in the first picture, as pretty as it looks.
