I have got a couple of the balls quite badly marked- don't ask how, I don't know. SO am about to buy a new set. It did occur to me to wonder how many games you should get out of a set of balls. Does anybody have any idea?

Could you not just buy a couple of new ones? What make and colours do you need? I've seen single Aramith TC reds and whites on e-bay and other sites. I don't know if there's a standard number of games you should get as it probably depends whose using them.

I possibly could buy individual balls but here thye are not an expensive item so I shall probably just get a new set.
I suppose you are correct. A good player will spend less time over a game than I would- so ball life is probably a function of hours of play. Also really high speed play would wear them faster. So I suppose the answer is, there isn't a simple answer!王可

Yes hours of play is one aspect and type of play is another. If you have Robbo smashing the object balls into the pockets they will take a hammering. With his full length of the table screw backs the white will wear out. Cheaper balls will wear out and lose there colour quicker. If you look at other posts you'll see that lots of Forum members can't see past Aramith Tournament Champion. Circa £100 a set.
