i was looking at these the other day and noticed the tips in the tub are very different to the ones out the tub. i was going to ask about these, i wonder how they play?

I've got some but mine went shiny
          pretty quick
I might try another one and see how
          I get on

How do they play? What other tips can you compare them to?

            Cheers

To be honest I took it back off after about
an hour because it stopped holding chalk
so it probbably hadn't had enough time
to give them a proper go
like I said I'll try another and let you know

about 3 years ago i used a le pro on me pool cue, i found it shiny too, when i last went to craftsman these look very similar. either use very fine sandpaper regular to hold the chalk or use a different chalk. that blue Master chalk. my reasoning was its american pool chalk and they use a lot of leather shiny tips. certainly better on the le pro than triangle.

They're nowhere near as hard as a le pro tip
I tend to scuff my tip every time I play
and I use master chalk all the time as I like it better than
                  triangle
bit still went a bit shiny
as I said before it may just have been not played in
but I didn't have too much time to so took it off a put a layered
                  tip back on
