I'm Back

Been away for a while but thought that I would bring you all up to date with the progress I am having with making a working prototype.
This is the first complete one that can be altered to try different configurations.
Eventual model will be real world tested.
Any ideas or thoughts then please let me know.

Sorry, I just scanned this thread and that tickled me.

FYI, I would go straight to USA with that machine. I have no idea what they already have or use but there's your real market.

Can the forum members give me advice as to what they would seriously be prepared to pay for one of these, also if there is the need for one of these.
All advice will be greatly appreciated.

How big is this and can it be taken apart during postage. I have seen some pool ball cleaners before and they are mostly made of plastic or something lighter and smaller. I am not saying big is not good (it could be more durable and more powerful and what not) but if you have to charge much more for postage because of the weight/size then that might be a problem for your overseas customers?
Also, if you become really busy can you produce enough of these quickly if they are to be made with wood by hand one at a time?
I say you go talk to big tournament producers and offer to sponsor their tournaments in exchange for having your machine being shown on TV cleaning the balls during an event. Perhaps you can also offer a few during big amateur events so they can use your machines to clean the balls up in between matches. This way players can actually see how it works and they can touch it and try it themselves. There is a big tournament in Vegas (BCA Pool League)every year with over $20,000 players attending from US, Canada, Asia and Europe. You can also rent a booth to promote your machines during the event.
