I see Stu at Greenbaize has got some new designs of cases in, personally loving those brass corner pieces, good idea indeed.

Thanks for that, but as already mentioned I have already had soem great discussions with Crispian.
I was only asking about these other guys as I have never seen them discussed in TSF and just wondered if anyone had had dealings with them.
(I think I prefer Crispian to Stamford)

I bought a really nice case recently and it is very good quality.
I saved £50 on it and got it for £130, and it holds 2 cues plus mini butt etc.
It's a Peradon 'special' apparently, and was one of only a few made in this design. The rug in the picture is dark brown, so sorry for the quality of the pictures.
When you consider the cases mentioned above would have cost twice the price, and for a single case only, it's not a bad price.
Crispians cases are nice, but he doesn't do tournament style, or I would have bought one. Believe me I tried lol.
I first saw Tony Glover using brass ends.
His dad made them for him but he doesn't supply them anymore.
If you look on Ebay, you can get some brass strips, that are about 0.8mm thick, 1/2 inch wide, and 12 inches long.

You could use them for the ends, by drilling a few holes in them, and screwing them into position.
They're fairly cheap too.
Or there are some brass corners reasonably cheap:
