I took it as the strip being 35mm wide

Also the same seller has "large" spots (with white centre spot) and these are noted as being "35mm APX"
      Up the TSF! :snooker:

do not think that labels will be much good for spots, you need some other material. Not sure what spots are made of.

If ppl didn't bang the balls down on the spots and just place next to the spot and move into position with one finger on the top of the ball... dips and holes wouldn't be a problem ( just sayin' ).

Don't like to see the balls banged down on the spots and can never understand why so many do it. Also do not like to see the reds thrown into the triangles. I lay the reds against the cushion and set them up that way, then put the triangle over them.

Exactly. That does annoy me when people do that there is no need for it. Its often the ones that just come in the club for a knock that aint that serious about the game. By keep banging the balls down you get a build up of dust under the cloth which causes a bump so replacing the spots wont help much.

The ones that do it here, play everyday and two of them are quite decent players, but not as good as some of us old ones were many years ago, when we played all the time. They even throw theirs cues on the table in disgust when they get annoyed.

Table spots were originally I believe made of silk. Recently I have used a small c' 8mm. spot which although described as silk is probably a synthetic version. They are self adhesive (best ironed on) and are the best I have used for many years. In commerciel sites spots are the only answer to slow down cloth wear. F.
