  • Pool ball polisher working model 1

Been away for a while but thought that I would bring you all up to date with the progress I am having with making a working prototype.
This is the first complete one that can be altered to try different configurations.
Eventual model will be real world tested.
Any ideas or thoughts then please let me know.

    Previous thread.

So do you polish one ball at a time, or do they all go in together ?
If all together how do you stop them clattering into one another, centrifugal force ??

the Centripetal Force, evenly spaces the balls out, even if they are loaded into just one side. The friction from the outer buffing pad also works to evenly space the balls it runs very smoothly. I will upload a video shortly of it in motion.
I would however only put 8 in at a time as it is half a set.

          Very intertesting.
Have you thought of also putting an extra round block covered with felt in the middle?

already designed. there is a lid assembly that needs to be added and the central polishing unit will be attached to that. There is going to be a electronic push timer switch, a safety kill switch built into the lid assembly, an emergency stop button, then maybe an auto spray function for the cleaning and polishing fluids. and then just refinements.....

Integrate an ipod dock with some speakers and I reckon some pool rooms might buy one of them.
