  • Aramith tournament champion snooker balls g 1

Just want to see what you guys think of these new balls and more importantly the price?
Personally I don't see how they would make any impact on any players game so begs the question who would buy the them?

Please note I have no connection with chesworth cues

Yeah i don't really understand whats so good about them ?? It says they are accurate to within a gram of each other, but when i bought my secondhand set of normal Tournament balls off ebay, i weighed them all just for piece of mind and they all weighed exactly 141 g each anyway. So either i just got lucky or its just sales hype ??

I too weighed my set and they are also within a gram of each other. If you take the condition of the table's that we play on in to account any advantage of having a near perfect set of balls would be lost. I think it is a dangerous step for any player to get caught up in the search for perfection as it is rarely achievable and in the long term will ruin your game.

I have to say that I have learned from my mistake's and had to take a serious look at myself and my game. I can honestly say that I am a better person and a better player now than I was 6 months ago and I as a result am enjoying my snooker again. I don't even think about my cue any more. The only thing I focus on now is my cue action trying to get a consistent drive. I think it a leaning curve that most of us go through I'm just glad it's behind me now.

I have a set of the exact same snooker balls but I only payed £130 brand new. I think I got a bargain :snooker: I must admit I do like the set :P

Chesworth is always a bit higher than others. JohnParrotSports have them for for about £180 incl P&P. Best price is buying them at The Crucible. I bought a set last year for £120.
PS Difference between heaviest and lightest was 0.69g. Doesn't make much difference to me. I bought them cos I liked the silver case. Its not really very robust tho' as very thin aluminium construction. handle may be plastic.

Now £30 is a bargain :snooker: should have bought a few and made a profit on them :snooker:

Like the guy on E-Bay asking £175 for sets that are sold off for £30 at the end of PTC's. Anyway I had to wait over 10 months to get one set.
