Just curious when everyone make that decision to put a new one on.
I know some change tip brands for experimental reasons and perhaps change the tip well before it's due to be changed or perhaps you have a bad one (BD & Elks in particular) so change it to try another one.
Assuming it's a good tip you have on already.... when and what reason do you use to put a new one on e.g. tip goes too hard from compression, not holding chalk, worn down to ferrule etc....
I'd be interested to know what tip brand and also how often you play which I assume is the biggest influence of wear and tear.
