Kamui is coming out with a new chalk, which will be launched in the Super Billiards Expo on Thursday.
It is supposed to help those who like to use chalking as a pre-shot routine. Not too sure the idea behind it but pretty sure there is going to be two types of Kamui chalks in a couple weeks.
Jay you are probably best ask Ozone about this.
There will be another new chalk on the market soon that is supposed to be much cheaper but also really good. It is invented by the father of pro pool player Xiao Tan Pan. I heard from some pro 9 ball players who have tried this chalk that it is just as good as Kamui. It is not on the market yet but should be real soon.

ive been using the new chalk kamui 1.21 for a few months now and have to say it is very good, the major concern with the 0.98 was that overchalking would result in chalk marks on the white, this made too much of an issue with the process of chalking the cue,the 1.21 allows you to chalk after every shot, but, you can still play many shots without having to chalk.

So, if you do not chalk for a whole game it is still okay but if you want to you can chalk every shot with this new chalk and the cue ball does not get all those dots?

                          hi george,
no one in australia has it for re sale as yet as they are launching it in the USA before australia. hopefully it's better than the other and cheaper as the other one .98 i agree was overpriced and not worth 50cents for snooker.

more like there's so much chalk on the cue ball you can use it as the chalk! that's why you don't need to re chalk as often as your tip hits the cue ball the remaining chalk re coats the tip.
if you want to see what it feels like throw the chalk your using into a glass of beer or wet it.

Hi I've tried the chalk and yes it leaves a mark on the white initially, then it's ok until I chalk it again. Of course the white needs to be cleaned as soon as the marks appear. I've found it works and works well, but there is one major thing wrong with using it. I love to chalk the cue ! I can't help it, I just want the action of chalking between shots. Just to hear the noise as you chalk it gives you the confidence to play the shot as well, this noise doesn't happen with Kumui at all. That's why I'm not using it anymore, it works it's just not for me.
                                Regards
                                Mark
