  • Cajeput/White Tea tree oil on Cue

Okay, I'm not sure if this is a stupid question or not.

I'm in Malaysia right now on a holiday, and while looking for some teak furniture, I discovered that all the furnitures made use of cajeput oil (after googling, it's similar to white tea tree oil). The finish is pretty nice on the furniture and very natural. I brought home some for experimenting purposes.

My obvious question: can I put this on my cue?

If it is cajeput oil , that is one of the ingredients of Olbas oil and smells of camphor and turps. It can cause drowsiness and hallucinations as well. New cue line for winter , Mike , clear your nose as you play and make it so your opponent cant pot a ball because " there are toooo many pockets man " . Please let the forum know how your experiments go with this new cue oil finish , Mike , I for one would be interested .LMAO

Jeez old school. The game's up, I admit it. I was trying to kill Mike Wooldridge and take over his cuemaking business

Edit: It is also apparently the ingredient for the great Tiger Balm, and close cousin of Tea Tree Oil.
