I'm now using cue oil from one of the famous UK cue maker. However, I find it a bit sticky that would anyone has any experience of cue oil that could provide a smooth silky slide over the bridge. Moreover, I prefer it would not darken the cue too much. Thanks for advices.

Which cue oil is smoother
Hi, I use mike wooldridge cue oil. I find that the more sessions I have the better the cue gets. At the moment it is super smooth! Although the first couple of times using the cue I did have to buff it a few times between shots but that might of been down to incorrect application as mike has said. Anyway in my opinion it is the best oil on the market and my cue is smoother now then when I brought it from John paris.

Should I apply cue oil again with the proper steps ?
Bee wax is not really that recommended because it would be sticky.

it's not the oil it's you - more coats but thinner is the trick. beeswax is really for people who know what they are doing because it is is a tricky product to use.
