kamui black tip advice pls?

Just got Kamui black (m)
1. What grade sandpaper to get tip flat do you use

2. What grade sandpaper for shaping tip,
And last how tall to leave tip after fitted?

I would use a medium grade sandpaper to shape the tip. Then a fine sandpaper to burnish the edges.
Kamui's tend to turn to black dust when shaping unlike Elks and Diamonds.
I found these tips last a lot longer than other makes of tips and don't need to be reshaped very often. I'd leave it the height of a tip you've played with for a bit and are happy with.
P.S Just be careful when shaping that you don't de-laminate the tip

Thanks for that. I played first time with talisman pro soft last week and it split after a misscue. I've now got another along with the kamui black, so I'm kind of 50/50 on which tip to use as I honestly thought the talisman was perfect in every way for my game. With the only exception of not screwing back to my usual potential. But then again only had it on a week..
