I don't think anyone would pay £75 for a ferrule...(and something to the effect of MW isn't cheap)
That's not entirely true. It may be so for those from UK. Some people here are from Asia, Aussie, Canada, South Africa where shipping can be at least 50-80 and duty tax (one way). And they have to cover a similar amount for the return shipping.
If their cues are bent/ or needs refinish/replacement joints/ferrules, they generally would send them to the uk rather than pay for a mediocre local job. It makes the decision harder to pay so much for shipping for what really is a 10-20gbp job. If Blackspin can give the gaurantee of a reinforced structure that reduces snapping/damage, it is worth the investment, especially when you take into account that the blackspin package at 75 includes retipping, refinish, fitting new ferrule, straightening, possible retaper and dent/scratch removal.
Find any other cuemaker for all the above services, you would expect that sort of number as well.
Those who aren't in UK will at least find comfort that their ferrules are less likely to snap and can save on future trips. Dents and scratches can be avoidable by being careful. Bents and ferrule breaks are beyond your control, at least one natural occurance can be minimalized, provided the wood sits well over time.
His cues on the other hand are not easily affordable. I say this with caution, because some would compare to black plates or ultimates and find MW price relatively affordable, or otherwise. Conversely, if his cues are compared to Craftsman or GBL, they would think so. This would take a whole new digression.
2 weeks ago. got it from a big retailer from the US
Asi, did you stick it on your new LP? Can you give us a review of how it plays and how good it is please? An honest and frank review from an intelligent, respected player would help everyone.

Dont know who the uk agent but i know two other people down my club have been promised a sample and nothin! The uk agent isnt doing a very good job of getting a new product out there, im going to stick with what ive been using, theyve lost at least one customer through poor service and communications...
Got 3 tips this morning. Stroke & Mediumistic in 14mm, but there is a natural coloured laminated tip, which is only 9mm wide and is predomed, with just the Black Heart logo on the 'cue' side - no lettering. It feels quite 'springy' and I can't find anything like it on their website.
