Here is an ebay link for a UK seller so postage is cheap, gonna order some myself to see if its the real deal but it does looks like it!
That's normal light green, readily available in the UK and not the dark green/spruce that is the subject of this thread.

It doesn't look like the light green 1 that's why I posted the link, are you sure Gerry?

Yes, it's definitely the normal Light Green.

I did that, got nowhere. I also contacted Peradon in scouseland, who are Tweeten's biggest importers in the UK (Tweeten make both Triangle and Masters chalk) on the advice of Skip Nemecek, President of Tweeten. They didn't have any, and said they'd have to import 60 boxes (!) to make it worthwhile for them. Obviously, I declined. Anyway, a couple of sellers are supplying Spruce from the US, so all is good. I've just tried this chalk on a GBL Pro Granite, which I put on my cue last night to run a comparison to Flame's O'min red laminate tip. I have to say this, the PG really holds the chalk well. Just one swipe is enough, no more fiddling over and over again as with light green chalk. And each swipe last about 3 shots which in general is 3 times longer than laminates like O'mins, and an O'min holds chalk better than any other laminate in my experience. It loves a PG which probably means it will bind very well to an elk, BD, or even a MW supertip.

It's just the best chalk available, unless you can afford a 20 quid block of Kamui.

Just received 3 doz of Master spruce chalk from USA. Looking good, I'll try them at the club tomorrow.

7 USD per doz including shipping to AUS.

I just got a gross of the spruce chalk from the US. I will post a review once I've used it awhile.

I understand the tips are not commercially available as yet, but they soon will be. Once they are I will let everyone know although you will have to order them through a retail outlet since Tweeten cannot sell directly to the public.

Crikey, everyone is getting in on the layered tip game. Get that tip on and give us the review!
