Once I saw a pro wearing one, I thought, hey, there might be something in this. US pool players have been using them for ages but us Brits don't like to be seen trying to gain an advantage so we poo pooed the idea for a long time. I tried one yesterday, and it was great in a hot and humid room; superglide! If anything, it was too smooth, so I'm going to deliberately let the cue get dirty and only polish it with a dry cloth; this may also save the filler coming out long term (due to overuse of a damp cloth). And I don't have to keep going to the bathroom in the club now, to wet my cloth.

The glove I purchased was a two finger and thumb jobby, but I've also seen gloves with the fingertips missing and I just wandered what gloves other members had tried and found successful?

I found them to be very good to use when it is humid stops that sticky feeling.

I've bought one as always struggle in our club as its so humid, but haven't had the courage to try it yet, i know i'll get the proverbial taken out of me! Does feel nice though, even if it does look a bit fetishy lol

Bit of bondage, suits you sir! Yeah, they are nice. I'm just using mine in practice at the mo, as I probably won't be able to play any comps 'till October when it will be cooler. I might still keep it on though, it's nice to play with even when it's cooler like today.

I wear those.

Had a session with my glove Today , what a difference , my hands are so clammy that i really dont feel like playing when its humid but what a difference . Just glad none of the boys were there taking the pi** .
