I would like to throw my two penneth into the mix. Today I took delivery of a pot of Pro Granite Tips that were dispatched to me by ADR147. I went down the club tonight and got my mate to put it on my cue, it is a very solid tip and played very well srom the very 1st shot, i would say that it is slightly harder than a MW Supertip however it plays just as well straight out the pot as a MW Supertip, maybe a little better.
I havent even shaped it, just scuffed the top of the tip so that it could grip the chalk and then went to town with it. The reaction i was getting with the cue ball was ridiculous for a tip that had only been on 30 minutes and hadn't even been shaped.
I have a league match tomorrow so I will give it a quick shaping tomorrow afternoon, if it plays half as good tomorrow night as it played tonight just knocking it in, then I will be a very happy chappy tomorrow.
