spraying a cue craft alu case

thinking of purchasing a cue craft alu case and taking it to bits to spray it a different colour.

has anyone done this before? do they come apart easy enough, ie the end caps, handle, hinges, latches are they removable?

i'm thinking of going yellow

can be done, things you will need, Plastic primer paint, fine scotch pad to sand the case..... and your case is good to spray

A friend of mine did his, but then he sprays cars for a living - lovely job though

did they mask up the areas not to be sprayed or did they take it all to pieces?

i'm normally ok at taking things to pieces, its the putting back together that gets me into trouble :-)

You'll need a rivet gun and rivets as all the attachements (plastic ends and locks) are put on in this way, not just screws.

Easy to do though. Getting them off is the most difficult but, you'll need a drill and the right size bit.

Would it not be quicker just getting a barrier from an NCP car park, and adjusting to suit ?
