Short of using a lathe, I find the best/easiest way to get it flush is by hand and a sharp blade, sort of pressing the blade against the tip and turning the cue to make it cut. For harder laminated tips, I can still cut it in in a similar way, just in smaller, separate bits. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back. GET MAD!!

My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)
