It's got to be played by 27th this month. The other semi was played last night so I've just got to contact the winner and arrange a date. I will PM you when I get the details. Peter Williamson has also agreed to ref the game for us as well. Can't wait now, just got to get my head down and practice!

Thanks itx. I'm just plodding on now mate. Not sure if you saw my earlier post but I've stopped all treatment now as the chemo was having no effect on the tumours. The inevitable is closer than I ever thought. They have given me 2/3 months now!!! But hey, I'm still here for now, playing our glorious game and just can't wait for my final now!!! Some serious practice ahead of me. Morphine, steroids and loads of ensure drinks at the ready!!! Haha

I'm certain that anyone else in my position would, after an initial period of despair, be the same as me. There is bugger all I can do to change the inevitable so why wallow in self pity. I vow to carry on as normal as possible for as long as possible. It's my wife and kids I feel for the most! When I am at peace, they somehow have to carry on without me!! That is just so hard to accept. I'm ready to go whenever this ******* takes me now but my wife and children will never be as ready as me. I'm just hoping I will make Christmas now.
