I had a glover case.....very good quality . Very heavy. His Dad used to make them , but stopped a few years ago . Regret selling mine but didn't think I was going to buy a one piece cue .

I've got a North Wales Case in production at the moment , can't fault them (apart from no end protectors) . Parris are but are too expensive , real long waiting time and I don't think the leather is as good as Crispians . Seems a little thin to me .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

With the amount of leather and suede used for the outside and interiors, north wales is probably more worth it than the others. One thing to consider though is that this makes them much heavier than the other two brands. My friends 3/4 case is about the same weight as my stamford one piece case

I agree, NW cases are heavy but it's a small compromise given what it is protecting inside.

I've just found a couple of pictures on the cueporn website.....

              http://cueporn.tumblr.com

They look like pretty decent cases, really like the end protectors!!

This was my one piece Glover case .......Ended up in the Far East . A TSF Member bought it and asked me to get it to Dan Shelton , who then sent it with 2 of his cues in it .

Similar in price to the green baize leather cases, although i would go for a gbl case personally. Customisable, with end protectors and overall seems like better quality than the Peradons.

Great advice just looking at their website now, seem reasonably priced. I've emailed Stu, thanks jono*

I have one the blue and black patch one piece, they are ok but the the leather does scuff very easily, they hold the cue nice and tight, other than that can't fault them.

Case now ordered from green baize ltd.

Service is second to none Stu was very helpful and responded promptly, which is more than I can say for at least 3 other manufacturers I contacted !

Anyone here had a Parris cue case before?

How are they in comparison to stamford or north wales cases?

Anyone had a case from Parris in designs/colours different than the stock ones ?

                              Thanks!
I have had 2 Parris leather cases now, 1 x 3/4 and 1 single piece.
Both were superb, the quality of the leather, the suade interior, the brass hinges ( and the screws holding the hinges ) and locks are all premium quality.
These are made by JP and he uses hardwood which makes them feel very strong, imo if they are within your budget then you will not be dissappointed.
I suggest that if your supplier cannot categorical state where the case was made then the chances are it was made in Asia so you will not know what sort of timber has been used, also look at the quality of the hinges, locks and screws.
This not to say that all Asian made cases are rubbish but you do get what you pay for.
A fellow at my club has a Mastercue case and on casual inspection it looks pretty good, however when you look at the hinges and locks they are about one third the thickness of those used by JP ( the screws are total rubbish ), the leather has an inferior feel to it and it feels like it is about 1/3 lighter than the JP.
By the way I am in no way related to JP, other than being a very satisfied customer.
" Cues are like girlfriends, once they become an EX I don't want them hanging around ".

I'm not going to name them, there aren't many to choose from though.

Yes slow and for some still no response.
