  • Parris cue cases

    Hi,

Anyone here had a Parris cue case before?

How are they in comparison to stamford or north wales cases?

Anyone had a case from Parris in designs/colours different than the stock ones ?

    Thanks!

I have the blue and black version. Very nice case, well built but possibly a little expensive. I also have a stamford case in black and red, it's a nice case, lightweight but have to say I prefer the parris.

Parris cases do look well refined. As you say though not as good value when compared with stamford.

Did you have the option to change any of the interior colours like stamford allow?

When I bought mine I was in a hurry for a case as I broke the hinge on my previous aluminium one. I phoned the shop up to see what they had in stock and had a choice between the blue/black & the plain black. Otherwise it was a 12 week wait. I'm sure they would allow customisation to an extent.

One feature I like about it, are the studs at the end to protect it which stamford don't offer.

If Crispian is taking orders (north wales cases) I'd order one of his. Parris cases are very well made and Stamford, likewise but IMHO, you simply cannot buy better than a NW case although not all will agree with me.
You may defeat me but I will fight you to the very end!!!!

I definitely agree with you fred, beautiful cases, although I may be selling mine soon, as I'm always worrying about it getting scuffed when 10 of the guys pool cue cases are dumped on top of it. Cue craft for me now ( thanks ADR ) for the Tuesday night pool league.

I have had a chedder classic, a peradon, a master cue and a custom made to order glover cue case all in leather, the glover was fantastic and had brass pieces around ends for protection in my opinion the glover was the best but cant really say was a lot of difference in others, I know gbl have the corner protecters on, but think its a question of budget and personnel preference , but if had a few quid would defo go glover again

I'd have to agree with a few above, from my experience the North Wales cases knock spots off the rest..... But of course it's all down to personal preference and budget.....
