Well i played for 4hrs last night and i must say i was pleasantly surprised with the tip. Although it was the hardest tip i have ever had to trim it never felt hard when playing with it. Normally with hard tips you get a slight tang or ting sound like a loose tip but not so with this tip witch surprised me. Now for anyone that plays golf knows when you hit the sweet spot on the club face then it doesn't feel like you have hit the ball well i must say that's what every shot felt like with this. Tip holds its shape very well only thing i notice was it had to be chalked more. But all and all i am very happy with it and would defo recommend to anyone that likes to play with hard tips. Not played for 3 years and itching for a game....11-3-2017.

I'm a hard tip lover, I try the Talisman XH earlier, to me is consider as soft.
I'm currently using the Omin red, but pressed for months before fix it on.
Sound "tang" when hit !! Exactly like what others people said "half a marble on the end of your cue" !!!
I can't play with soft tips, the cue ball seems not moving (follow or screw back) when use soft tips..... !!
Where to buy a Rhino tip ? Maybe should give it a try ~~~~~~~~Last edited by kadobau; 4 January 2014, 02:45 PM.

You want to try sapphire tip no need to clamp or press alway play like what you mention "half a marble on the end of your cue"
Sell you 3 pc for 7.50 pound include postage to your home. But you must have paypal payment. Cheers!

Some pressed a bit hard, some over pressed and become too hard ~~~~~~ !!!!
I still can play when it's too hard but worried that might damage the wood shoulder at ferrule !!!!!
Thus I'm looking for a real hard tip, originally is really hard & consistently hard.
