Do the black ones play any differently or is it purely a fashion thing?

I must admit this is the longest I have been faithful to one tip, can't fault the tan ones. Couldn't ask anymore from a tip, which is why I was curious as to the change of colour?

i like the tan but every day somebody asked if i would do them in black - what i think then doesn't matter much!

You can get Phoenix tips in black.. ( soft, medium, hard ). They keep their shape too!

Played with Phoenix tips, many years. IMP the midium is the best. (but still hard).
Until I tried one of yours. I do'nt know what your secret is, lol !!!! but I have never seen an LM tip with such a great playability!!!

So that's it then !!! ,, Well, it works!! I played once with B diamond,,. then I tried other LM tips, (particularly Phoenix). I think that all LM tips are too hard. Maybe just because they don't suit my game!!! But this adr tips, plays for me just the same as B diamond. The grip on the CB (especially with SCW back shots) is incredibly good.
