  • TC Balls Diameter Tolerances

Tc balls are 2 1/16" diameter but on measuring mine they are just a bit under that. What is the allowable tolerance?
The bitter taste of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

    the rules state:

"2(a) The balls shall be of an approved composition and shall each have a diameter of 52.5mm with a tolerance of +/- 0.05mm;"

Are you measuring with digital calipers?

        Yes, digital calipers.

BUT- 2 1/16" = 52.3875 mm, say 52.4 mm. Going by the rules, the tolerance would have to be between 52.45 and 52.55. So is 2 1/16" as advertised by Aramith just a close size?

          are your calipers imperial only?
or what do they say in metric?
the rule only have metric now, I think the imperial is a hang-over and from the manufacturers
