Nose bridge for glasses

Strange one I know but i've seen a player with a plastic nose bridge that raises his glasses. It enables him to see through the centre of the glasses when he goes down on the shot.

Has anyone else seen these and if so, would you know where to get them as i'd like to give it a go?

The spoony is exactly what I saw this guy wearing so I'll start with the bluetac (I'll ignore the jibes as they'll be plently in our club) and if it looks good in practice, order a spoony from Germany (thanks for the link).

World class Billiards player Rob Hall used to play with a similar thing - now uses billiards glasses.

As for showing me with blue tac on my 'boat race' I'll think about it cheeky!

Used blue tac on the plastic lugs on the glasses and a bit in the middle to join them and it raised it enough to work so i guess I'll order the spooney now!

Certainly helped with long pots, not quite happening with disposable contacts as can't quite see the edge.

Played with standard glasses last night after contact lenses for last few years. Seemed like a big mistake as missed a few over the pocket so can only think it was distortion in the lenses as moved the glasses slightly and the whole table distorted.

Does anyone think the spoony works? If I play as bad as last night I'll just go back to lenses and accept the long ones are a bit blurred!

How come it didn't work?

Mine was fine on long pots as I was looking through the centre of the glasses.

I missed 4 good chances at an angle that were viewed out of the side of the glasses so they were at risk of the deflection because of the distortion on the curved lense. Gutted as they cost me the frame in a top of the league clash and my long game was sound.

Gone back to lenses so great up to 8ft but can't see distance again, really frustrating as now affecting long game and struggling in frames I feel I would have one if I could see the B****y thing!
