Just wondering if anyone has bought one of these cases or if anyone knows anything about them. Very cheap considering there made of real leather what are your thoughts ?
much appreciated
They actually look quite nice, my only reservation is the material used on the inside, with the pattern, it just doesn't sit right in my head. Maybe that's just me though.
The picture quality isn't the best but the actual inside lining doesn't look well made imo... saying that if it sold between 60 to 80 I'd say it could be a good buy, maybe that's undervaluing it but unless someone sees it in the flesh I wouldn't spend more than that...
Don't let the fear of losing be greater than the excitement of winning...
He as been selling these for ages a mate in the snooker league bought one last year there actually
well made and good cases.i dont like some of the combinations he does and the blue lining on the inside needs
rethinking.
I bought one the last time he listed them. The one I got was £40 plus postage. Firstly they are nothing like Crispian quality but they are a fraction of the price so you can't expect it to be, you are not getting a £250 case for £50. Can't fault mine for the price, the ends are not the tidiest but that is really my only critisism, notice there are no photos of the ends on any of the listings. I was going to see about getting some corner protectors and they would protect it and cover the end stitching. I bought it so I could take it when I'm oot for a few beers playing pool and not worry too much about it getting knocked about. It does appear to be real leather so the cost of the materials must come to quite a bit without the work of making it.
Doing a bit of investigating it seems these could well be made in Africa, which is why they can be sold so cheaply... I see the seller also has leather chalk pouches which could come in handy.

Possibly, to me it looks like someone who likes arts and crafts and makes these as a hobby. They must also like pool as many of their other items are shown lying on top of a pool table. If you look at the other listings they are selling upholstery material which is the same as the case interiors, its like a thick curtain material. They could be imported but by the time the cost of shipping was paid I would think it would hardly be worth it to sell them cheaply on eBay, but you could be right.
To answer some other questions, they are 1 piece slimline cases no room for extensions just chalk. The upholstery nails don't touch the cue, the nails hold down a fairly think sponge, when the case is closed the sponge holds the cue in place and stops it rattling around inside.
