Re-tipped my cue with an elkmaster as per this guide. Using a stanley blade (without handle) isnt the best, think i will invest in a scalpal. kept digging into the ferrule slightly which was annoying, also, even once ive shaved off as much of the olf tip as i can, the end of the cue still looks shiny, cant get it back to bare wood.

Anyway, played about 6 hours with the tip with a re-trim (had started overhanding the ferrule a bit after a few hours play) and re shape half way through and its still staying on, plus its playing great!

Quite impressed with myself as its the first tip ive done myself. :snooker:
