anybody fix snooker table irons

hi folks my local snooker club's iron has had it which is a nuisance so wondered if any1 on here is able to fix them or know's of any1 cheers.

what has gone wrong with it?
is it a Dowsing iron (and not a Chinese version/copy)?

Cheers dean Not sure of the make but it's old and green lol just found out he's sent it off to a fella to have a go see if he can fix it so we'll see.
