Are Halo cases any good?

Need a decent 1pc case! Only ever had 3/4 cue craft.

Don't want any of those cheap crap aluminium cases.

They are very good for the money. Secure, sturdy and look quite good too, better than most of the cases in the same price range on fleabay, imho.

No, the cue craft ones are good I meant the cheap ones that do their best to imitate them. Ive seen those lots and they are horrible and flexible.

I would go for the wide and it's very compact. Plain black is the best I would say.

I would agree plain black just with the logos.

I've seen this case on ebay that looks like a plain version... (Like Dave coutts sells)

No but the catches are good quality. You get what you pay for. I have a one piece. Only negative is no chalk compartment.
