Case protection idea

Hi,

I have just put these on the ends of my case, should provide some protection i hope.

These are the same as you get on Parris cases...I use them on my Stamford and they protect really well..EBay sell them for pennies you just have to cut the pins down slightly

Yes I bought them from eBay. They are just high dome upholstery nails

A good idea, anything to help protect case from wear and tear/damage has got to be good.

These ends worked very well so far.

How did you all fit them? Just gently hammer into bottom or drill very small holes and tightly fitted them? Also any glue involved to stop them dropping out after time?
I gave some plain solid brass domed nails ready to fit to my Peradon black leather wide 3/4 case and wondering what is the best way to go about this?
Any advice please?

I just hammered mine in.
haven't fallen out yet and feel firmly seated to me.
