I know Tony Glover fabricates his own joints and I have a feeling Andy Travis can fabricate joints as well , might be worth giving them a nudge to see if they can help , by fabricating a new joint , you only need the correct tap and die set for the thread pattern.I have also ( if I remember correctly ) seen joints of all types on e-bay from MW , perhaps after a clearout of his " bits box " . Spiro loc joint is completely different , it is conical in shape.Hope this helps.

again from ROs website he still does this stubby joint, so it may be worth asking him if he has a long (solid not telescopic) extension lying around
http://www.robertosbornecues.com/ind...xtensions.html "Butt & Centre joints" tab
                  Up the TSF! :snooker:

I have got an old female joint, original from about 89-90, I stuck it in a rubbish old butt so I had a short cue when needed. It is the right joint but you would still need to get the wooden part made and the diametre of the joint may be differant.

That's sounds perfect, are you able to measure the diameter? And how much?

I had MW make one of these for a friend of mine who had a Hunt & O'Byrne. Gave Mike the joint diameter and he made up the extension(didn't use ebony, maple I think and he stained it).
The bitter taste of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
