Grand Cue tips

I would guess fake, but not sure why as not much margin?

I've tried Alliexpress, and they would be there? (Even the fake ones?)

I'm trying to get a half and half delivery of Cuesoul S and SS, but is through AlliE again, and I have asked about some 11(+)mm pressed. The last lot are too hard for me, but are less hard than the Grand Medium......

I think the problem is that over 10mm tips hit 9-Ball land and are Hard.


Btw, somewhere, I think AlliE, the Long Ba are described as soft, which I can understand.

My friend passed me a Grand Tip (H, 11mm).
Hesitated to change the current elk I'm using.. Anyway, couldn't resist to try it on ��
During the replacement process, it felt alot like LP tip (H), very very hard and took me very long to sand down the tip to my preferred shape and height ��
Can't wait for my golden hours to try the tip ��

Hesitated to change the current elk I'm using.. Anyway, couldn't resist to try it on

Looks like a perfect job on that tip!

I found the Grand Medium took an eternity to shape, so I can only imagine how long you must have spent!

I'm bad using blade to slice flush the tip as I always over slice into it.. haha..
Couldn't tell if it's my sweat dripping or tears

Make sure your using a shape blade or it will under cut the tip of not.

Really nice job that. What are you using to burnish the sides, very clean.

After fine sand paper (grade 2000), applied alittle shoe wax at the side (I'm using transparent shoe wax).
Clean the excess wax off with tissue.
Lastly start burnising the side with cardboard strap I cut from my son's cereal box twist and turn the strap till the side of the tip gets hot and shiny, similar to shoe polishing

Managed to try the tip today
Indeed it's very hard. The bounce is there and holds chalk well.
I'm using triangle spruce chalk.
Played about 3hrs, manage to break a couple of 30s and last frame end with 50s.
The tip didn't mushroom and the side still burnished.
Only one miss cue while I'm using spider rest (I'm bad at rest)
Reasonable price and played well straight after install, no bedding required.
I'm a happy boy today and the tip will stay

I have both medium and soft, i prefer the soft but they are not soft.
Softer then the mediums.

Even the mediums are not anywhere as heard as the Pro granite which are like stone..
