I'm someone that has been using elk for year's as I never got on with BD myself...
Have found like a lot are saying, my last few boxes (put a lot of tips on for people), that almost 50% have been really soft.
Funny as the last box I've got had been more like I was use to getting but fancy trying these Grand tips but think it might have to be the soft ones.
Like a firm tip...
Any advice from the guy's that are using them? For that one you've always wanted...

Put on a medium Grand tip the past weekend and gave it a go last night. At first glance, I felt a bit disappointed because it felt softer to what I was expecting. A friend of mine who had one before found it too hard for his liking.....which normally suits me. But as the session went in, tip was starting to bed in and feel was better. Great grip, good spin, pretty consistent. Managed to knock in some decent breaks as well. Now the tip only have something like 3h30 of practice so I'll get a better idea after a couple of days. But so far so good.Ton Praram III Series 1 | 58" 18.4oz 9.4mm | ash shaft + 4 splices of Brazilian Rosewood | Grand Cue medium tips

Bad tip will change how a cue feels and want to start off on the right foot..
Looking forward to trying them out.For that one you've always wanted...
