    It depends what the balls are like at your club/hall. The balls at my snooker hall were only 2" they were light and had chips all over the balls. Also I take snooker seriously so I got full size tournament champions and what a difference it made lol. It's not an uncommon thing to bring own balls you know

          Not uncommon at all. Quite a few of us bring our own TC's because the club balls are crap.
          The bitter taste of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

            do clubs actually let you do this?
            also what do you do with the ones that are on the table already so that you don't get them mixed up?

              I guess you wouldn't take them from the bar area. Might be different in a working men's club.

                I take mine to two social clubs that happen to have a snooker room but never to a snooker club

                  Our club does.
                  They don't leave the balls on the tables. You get them from the counter and return them when you're done playing. Therefore there's no chance of mixing the balls. Also, you don't leave your own balls on the table unattended.
