I tried to buy foam from Peradon a month ago. No way they would provide it. Finally got from Cue Craft no problem.
The bitter taste of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Many cases are a tight fit to begin with, until the foam compresses to the shape of the highest point of whatever you place inside. Within reason this is okay, as long as it doesn't stress anything unduly. I have seen owners add extra catches (you can buy them off ebay, Cheney are the best) to help keep the lid in line. You can also use a soft jaw hand/bar clamp (Screwfix) with plenty of padding (something like a folded facecloth) to gently squeeze the lid into position and leave it overnight. If that doesn't work then the case has been manufactured incorrectly. Hope that helps.

i went to left my cue in and buckled the case after reading this post yesterday. It is about 12 or so hours now, the cue is still straight but I don't see any difference in the padding, yet. I'll leave it in for a month or so to see if there are any changes. Thanks for the advice.

That's okay as long as whatever you use to close the case holds it in the position you want. The straps on most cases are there just as a safety feature, they aren't usually tight enough to actually clamp the two halves tightly together.
