I have had one on my cue for a few days now and have to say i am really impressed. It played well from day one, minimal bedding in time. It is firmer than an elkmaster but plays just as good if not better imo. Grips the cue ball very well but the thing i am most impressed with is how well it holds chalk making miscues very rare.
If your after a good pressed tip these are hard to beatLast edited by gmoore23; 1 May 2015, 06:46 PM.

What makes these green ones different or better than the original ones?

Well, just fitted one to my cue yesterday. Left high it played too soft. Reduced the height down which firmed it up okay, shaped it very carefully and left it overnight. Played this morning and it feels like a hard Elk. Easy cue ball action, reasonable feedback and holds chalk fine. Worth leaving on to see how consistent it is.

I just received some green ones yesterday in the post, ordered them through ADR and I fitted one on my cue straight away, went out last night and I agree they don't require much bedding in, within the hour I was knocking in decent breaks for fun, very happy with it, getting loads of reaction on side and screw shots and long straight ones were a doddle, can't wait for the inter league on sunday now.

These are really good tips and I've pretty much used all of them out there. What I meant to say was that the cue ball reacts really well when playing intended screw and side shots without having to use too much effort. After just 4-5 hours of use I think I may have found a tip which delivers on all fronts, the only thing I can't judge them on is longevity and how the tip will continue to keep performing over a longer period of time.
