Blue Elk are the cheapest and IMO the best. Once in place they need to be cut down the middle, bounced on tile about 50-100 times to compress and then shaped.
I use Coutts royal tips and for me they are the best pressed tip but if you are looking at elks get 13mm as they seem a lot more consistent than 9mm or 10mm ones.
