I don't think what we will pay is the question, being a tip junkie I've been through them all and spent a small fortune!
What I would like to pay would be around the £5 mark each for both, chalk being kamui quality and tips being ADR quality.
The kamui chalk just seems to be aimed at people too lazy to regularly chalk, I think most snooker players chalk automatically between shots and would be going through it too quick?
No one is listening until you make a mistake!

They do version 1.21, for those that like to chalk more frequently. Kamui (0.98) only works for me in practise, where chalking can be a pain and disrupts flow. It's too messy, however.

Most sane people would buy a better tip than pay a ridiculous price for chalk !

Yeah, but it's not always practical to change your tip all the time. A good chalk can save a bad tip.

              £1 per tip, 50p a cube.

BDP and Triangle Spruce, happy days. Better than Kamui Black M and Spruce.

If you truly believe this your as big an idiot as paying £20 for a piece of chalk would suggest!

I'd be interested to know if this is usual for other people as I've never found this to be the case.

Yes it can! I would suggest I've experimented with more tips and chalks than virtually anyone around here, and tips that are prone to glazing can be saved with a good chalk, ie kamui. Kamui even works great on the 7 or 8 phenolic tips I've used - try getting silver cup to stick to those, not going to happen. You can even screw balls pretty easily with kamui on a phenolic tip.

This is yet another example where you simply lack enough experience to properly comment.

                              Educate yourself, lad.

Glazing on layered tips can be caused (or exacerbated) through how you play. Smash the living snot out of the balls, like i do, and you'll find them glazing very quickly indeed. Baby the balls and you'll have fewer problems.

Perhaps it was unfair to single out talisman, but that one annoyed me more than most, i seem to remember.
